It’s super easy to deal with the innkeepers and the location is charming! It’s good value for the rooms and ours was spotless and lovely. It’s amazing how very quiet the room is given that it’s above retail and restaurant establishments. A great spot well worth the stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was quaint and very clean. Both the staff and room exceeded our expectations and we plan to stay again in the future. We will also recommend this place to all of our family that come to town to visit.
Don’t let the “two star hotel” label fool you. Prickly Pear Inn is 5 stars for comfort, location and style. The rooms are spacious, clean, and curated to feature south western ambience. We stayed in the Purple room and had a comfortable king bed and beautiful spacious shower. The Inn is situated between a delicious restaurant and a homemade ice cream shop. The best of both worlds! There is also a really cool gift shop attached to the Inn with a little something for everyone.
This is by far the best place to stay in Cave Creek! The central location is perfect for walking around town, easy access to all restaurants and shops. The rooms are priced correctly for what you get. Clean, big, well-stocked, kitchen, outside balcony, and a very comfortable bed and comfortable furniture. The people who own and run this Inn are great people; they took very good care of me during my stay! I will bring my wife back here next time we visit Cave Creek. She is hard to please, and she will not be disappointed with the Prickly Pear!
We stayed there for 2 nights in December 2025. What a wonderful experience. The rooms were immaculate and the staff incredibly personal & professional. The shops and restaurant were awesome. We'll definitely be back.
We absolutely LOVED Prickly Pear Inn! The room was so nicely furnished with little added extras and every detail was thought of (including delicious cookies & candy on the pillow!). The outside patio balcony was a delight and location put us within walking distance of things we wanted to do. Such a great area.. It's a small venue but HUGE on charm! Don't miss it!!
